BT Super (formerly BT Financial Group, aligned with Westpac) has undergone significant changes with various mergers and regulatory reforms. Many long-term members still hold accounts and insurance cover through BT's super products.
Checking your BT Super cover
If you have an existing BT Super account, log into your online account or contact BT Super directly to:
- Confirm whether TPD insurance is attached to your account
- Find out your cover amount
- Check whether cover is current or was cancelled due to inactivity
Cover may have been cancelled under "Protecting Your Super" rules if your account was inactive. However, if you had cover when you became unable to work, you may still be able to claim.
