Use the myGov + ATO search
The fastest way to see every fund linked to your tax file number is to log in to myGov and link the ATO. Under the super section you can view all your accounts, including lost and ATO-held super, in one list.
Check each account for insurance
Once you have the list, check each fund for TPD insurance — see how to find TPD cover in your super. You may be able to claim against more than one, as explained in claiming across multiple super funds.
Important: don't rush to consolidate
If you're planning a TPD claim, don't consolidate or close accounts first — rolling over or closing a fund can cancel valuable insurance cover. Check the cover before you touch anything.
